My view: SEA is an acceleration lever, not an expense

Too many marketers see Google Ads as a cost. I see it differently: when well-structured and measured, SEA becomes your fastest, most predictable growth lever.

✓

Data-driven approach

Every decision is based on measured data, not intuition.

✓

ROAS as compass

✓

Multi-touch attribution

✓

Zero wasted budget

Every ad euro is accounted for and optimized for maximum impact.

"SEA should never be a cost imposed on you. It’s a growth lever you steer like a real business: measure, test, continuous learning, predictable return on investment."

FAQ

FAQ on SEA management

A minimum budget of €500/month in ad spend is recommended for optimal management. This allows enough data collection to optimize effectively and test the necessary variations. Smaller budgets are possible, but with reduced optimization range.
First optimizations can be implemented immediately (ad improvements, bid adjustments). Significant results typically appear after 2 to 4 weeks of continuous optimization. ROAS improves progressively as we collect data and test different strategies.
Key KPIs include: ROAS (return on ad spend), CPA (cost per acquisition), CTR (click-through rate), conversion rate, and cost per lead. I provide detailed monthly reports with all these metrics, anomaly alerts, and optimization recommendations.
I specialize in Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Display, YouTube, PMAX), but my holistic approach to digital marketing lets me coordinate your Google campaigns with other channels (Meta Ads, analytics, CRO) for a coherent, optimized marketing ecosystem.
Yes, a contract with a termination clause is possible. Typically I propose an initial 3-month minimum engagement to allow effective optimization. After that, you can terminate with one month’s notice. Exact conditions are discussed at first contact.

Yes, it’s even recommended. Google Ads acquires fast (days/weeks) while SEO builds a sustainable foundation (months/years). Together they reinforce each other: SEA generates traffic and data while SEO grows authority. After 6-12 months, SEO takes over and you reduce dependence on ad budgets. This is the holistic approach I recommend to maximize your growth.

Yes, on certain projects. Approach: editorial netlinking, no spam. Small contextual links from quality thematic articles, placed strategically to increase your domain authority. The effect is complementary to Google Ads: more authority = better organic rankings = lower CPC = better ROAS. It’s a long-term strategy that amplifies SEA impact.

Search: text ads on Google Search. Capture pure intent, people actively searching for your solution. The most predictable.

Performance Max (PMAX): automated mix of Search + Display + YouTube + Shopping. Google’s AI optimizes it on its own. Ideal for discovery and creative testing, but less controllable than Search.

Demand Gen: new in 2025-2026, focused on video and visuals (YouTube, Shorts, Discover). Generates discovery and brand awareness: better ROAS for awareness than for direct conversions.

My recommendation: combine all three. Search for pure conversions, PMAX for scalability and testing, Demand Gen for awareness and top-funnel.

Google Ads & netlinking for a real-estate player: a full-funnel approach

This week, I launched a complete strategy for a real-estate player: Google Ads + editorial netlinking. The classic SEA approach is to scale ad spend to saturation. But for an industry like real estate, that’s not enough. Google Ads alone creates budget dependency: stop the ads, traffic stops. Hence the idea: pair Google Ads (Search + Performance Max) with strategic editorial netlinking to build organic authority in parallel.

On Google Ads, the strategy targeted three intent levels. Top of funnel (Search + PMAX): capture generic queries on the real-estate sector + target cities, with aggressive but disciplined budgets. Mid funnel: focus on comparison and expertise queries ("reliable real-estate agency", "rental investment in region X"). Bottom of funnel: direct conversions on specific ads. Performance Max handles discovery: videos, carousels, and text to test creatives before investing further.

In parallel, I set up editorial netlinking: small contextual links from related thematic articles (real-estate blogs, interior design, local sites). No spam, no mass link buying: just real linkbait content placed strategically. The effect isn’t immediate, but after 60 days the rise in authority (Trust Flow, Citation Flow) starts naturally lowering CPCs. More importantly, Google Ads + rising organic SEO produces a synergy effect: ads rank higher in SERPs, organic traffic grows, CPCs drop. Three months in, you have a combined engine that’s more profitable than an isolated paid strategy.

Go further

The real-estate case reminded me of one truth: Google Ads alone is never optimal. To make it sustainable, you need complementary levers:
